It was so wonderful to reconnect with this gorgeous mom and her family! We met several years ago – not going to say how long so we can pretend we’re younger than we are – and I must admit, she’s even more beautiful now. And she has a fun and playful husband and an adorable kid to boot! I look forward to seeing them much more as we grow younger. 😉  Enjoy the Sneak Peek!

Getting to shoot this family was a happy mix of circumstances and I am so happy they decided to let me take their family pictures! I had a lot of fun getting smiles out of each of them, and especially watching my ‘assistant’ tease some grins out of this seven year old! Thank you so much for allowing me to be a part of your memories and I hope you enjoy your sneak peek!

Love this family…Love the location…Love that they all the boys (including dad) play the double bass! Here’s a little bit of trivia for you, did you know the bass is also known as the upright bass, string bass, bass fiddle, bass viol, contrabass, bass violin, stand-up bass, doghouse bass, and bull fiddle? Due to my own small stint in an orchestra when I played the cello, I actually knew all those names…except for the doghouse bass. I’ve even spent a little time trying to find the origin of that term…and can’t find it. Anyone? Guess I’ll make up my own reason, that some husband when sneaking out to go play jazz with the boys got put in the “doghouse”…and due to repeated offenses, it became known as the doghouse bass. 😉 Wonder if it’s anywhere near the mark.

Later on, you’ll more than likely see another picture of these boys, as they were very patient with me in allowing me to set up an artistic shot that I’m very excited to work on once things slow down a bit. But meanwhile, please enjoy their sneak peek done in part of the beautiful Arizona desert!

When I got the call from this family and was told they wanted to incorporate the dad’s truck that he had built, I got excited. Then…they sent me a picture of the truck and I got even more excited. Then, we found the perfect location and we ended up with an awesome shoot! Thank you so much Zoller’s for bringing something so fun into our session! Enjoy your Sneak Peek!

I have to give some major props to this kid. After smiling through his family session, he kept it going for his Senior session immediately following. I know my cheeks hurt just from snapping his picture. 😉  Congrat’s on your Senior Year N! It just keeps getting better from here. Enjoy your Sneak Peek!
