Jacobs Family | Idaho Family Photographer

I grew up within a couple of hours of the Utah/Idaho border and somehow never set foot in Idaho until after I’d moved away from Utah for nearly 10 years and met the man of my dreams, a South-Eastern Idaho boy. My first few visits didn’t leave me with much of an impression other than it was freezing cold and blanketed in white with drifts you had to power through on the roads. However, this year, instead of visiting at the worst time of year, we visited during the best and I now have memories of beautiful waves of green, rolling hills, and weaving streams. It was wonderful! During our vacation I wanted to capture my parent-in-laws in front of their home which just happened to be one of the more beautiful green fields I’d seen. Can you imagine having this view from your front door? I had so much fun capturing the love these two feel for each other! Enjoy your sneak peek!

Potter Children | Bountiful UT Child Photographer

This was an amazing location and very special to me as I spent more days than I can count running around and playing in this very spot my entire childhood with my cousin. How appropriate that we decided to photograph her children in the same place that had so many happy memories for us. Introducing Mister J, Miss K, and Miss L.  I love that I get to photograph these precious little ones as they grow up!

Crocheted Beauty | Kaysville UT Product Photographer

As I mentioned, my cousin is a very talented woman. Here is a blessing dress that she created the pattern for. This is absolutely stunning in person!  You can purchase this pattern, and other amazing patterns at her Etsy shop, Sunset Crochet.

Quilted Beauty | Kaysville UT Product Photographer

My cousin is a very talented woman. She makes amazing quilts and crocheted items – but not only does she make them, she also creates the patterns for them. During my last trip to Utah I was able to photograph some of her products for her Etsy shop, Sunset Crochet.  Not all of the quilts pictured here are patterns she wrote, but all were handmade by her. If you’re looking for some amazing patterns stop by her shop!

Little Mr. Z | Salt Lake Newborn Photographer

Introducing Little Mr. Z! While on our family vacation to Utah and Idaho, we stopped to visit with my best friend from elementary-high school. She’d just had this little guy and as usual, I couldn’t help but break out the camera to snap a few shots. Little Mr. Z was very sleepy but wanted desperately to be awake, so his hands and arms were in near constant motion. My dear friend J…Thanks for letting me capture a few images of your newest little one!
